About my pedigree

If we talk about a pedigree, it has as much importance as a passport for a human. Even more. In human passport you can’t find any information about four generations of your ancestors, but you can see them in any pedigree. Therefore breeders consider the pedigree foremost, while matching the breeding pair.

It is a great advantage for any Labrador to have ancestors from the country of the breed’s origin – which is England, of course. As is from the top European kennels, mostly from Finland and Sweden.

Here I can make boast of my English and Finnish origins from the leading kennels, which are Carpenny and Tweedledum. My grandsires and grandmothers are famous Labradors, some of the best in breed and therefore highly titled. They are not just Inter Champions or Multi Champions, but also are males who obtained statuses as «Best Procreator». For instance – these are my grandsire Carpenny Scenario and my father – Timantti Solid Davidson.

What else can my pedigree tell you? Probably, the most important thing. By no means all Labradors can boast of that, even the most titled hardly ever can. Most of my ancestors take their origin from the lines of «duals» – these are dogs which are successful not only at the shows, but also at obtaining international working certificates. Nowadays it’s a rare situation if the show laurels are combined with successful career of the hunting dog, which a Labrador originally is. That makes the procreators more essential if they combine features of magnificent show dogs and of excellent assistant in the hunting field.
